Press and hold the Power button . While holding down the power button, press the Start Copy Black button two times, and then press the Cancel button three times. Release the power button. The wireless light next to the wireless button blinks. Repeat these steps if the wireless light does not blink.
Navigate to System Settings. Click on Printers & Scanners. Click on the > to the right of the printer in question. Click Options and Supplies. In the box next to Location, you should be able toOpen the Advanced Settings (EWS) in the HP Smart app or type the printer IP address into an internet address bar. From the EWS, click Network > Wi-Fi Direct > Status > Edit Settings . Change the Wi-Fi Direct Name to something you can recognize easily but is not personally identifiable to protect your privacy, and then click Apply .
STEP 6 – Enter IP Address. Enter your IP address in the top box ‘Printer Name or IP Address: ‘ as you enter the IP address, the lower box ‘Port Name: ‘ will automatically enter the same address, if you already have that address entered, you will see an ‘_1’ at the end of the address in the lower ‘Port Name: ‘ box.
